Houkura

The image gallery contains illustrations that appear within the various books of the Houkura series. In some instances, additional images were created specifically for the website to illustrate various creatures, places or technology that were described in the series but not illustrated in the books.

 

To satisfy Sabrina's quirky sense of humour, original concept illustration may be available. This is usually a very poor sketch of the intended scene that was sent to the illustrator so that you compare the basic stick figure concept with the final masterpiece.

 

A progressive map is available to show the paths made by the main characters on Houkura for each book in the series. Where possible, illustrations have been placed at the the locations of the various key places or incidents on the progressive maps.
